Communication and Development Projects Take Top Honors

51�Թϱ�� has earned 10 accolades for communication, marketing and development work in the latest round of Circle of Excellence Awards from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, or CASE.

Social Media Collaboration With Chancellor Wins Top CASE Award

The Council for Advancement and Support of Education, or CASE, recently presented its highest Circle of Excellence award, a Grand Gold, to the Office of Strategic Communications for its role in “Building Trust in the Administration Using Social Media.”

51�Թϱ�� won 14 awards in the 2022 Circle of Excellence competition: one Grand Gold, four golds, three silvers and six bronze, for projects including new graphics at the Welcome Center, alumni relations initiatives, marketing and a podcast.

Accolades from regional, national and international competitions have been rolling in for 51�Թϱ��’ communication and development efforts in recent months, recognizing a number of units, including:

After winning more than 30 awards in this year’s CASE regional competition for communication, marketing and development efforts, 51�Թϱ�� has now earned recognition in the international round of the contest.

In all, four departments won a total of six Circle of Excellence Awards from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, or CASE, triple the number 51�Թϱ�� earned last year.

CASE Winners Among Us, ACE Writers, Too

The 51�Թϱ�� development office is the recipient of its first Educational Fundraising Award from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, or CASE. The award is one of several recent honors for the university’s development and communications efforts.

Criteria for the Educational Fundraising Award extend well beyond the amount of money raised: “Again this year we recognize institutions that showed not just measurable growth, but also breadth and depth in terms of diversity of sources from which funds were raised,” the judges wrote.

51�Թϱ�� Wins International Honors in CASE Competition

Five marketing, communication and development projects from 51�Թϱ�� have earned international honors from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, or CASE.

The five Circle of Excellence awards — the most earned by any 51�Թϱ�� institution — follow 38 awards 51�Թϱ�� earned in regional CASE competition earlier this year.

7 Projects Are In CASE Circle of Excellence

51�Թϱ�� has added seven national awards to the 29 regional honors it received earlier this year from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, or CASE, for development, marketing and communications projects.

The campus submitted 28 projects to the CASE national Circle of Excellence competition and came away with a platinum, two golds, three silvers and a bronze. 51�Թϱ�� was one of only six universities to earn a platinum award, for Best Practices in Advancement Services.
