This Picnic Day, the price of Egg(heads) is down! Shop the limited-edition styles at the last known appearance of the Arneson Egghead Collection Pop-up Shop and enjoy lots of last-minute deals.

Since their completion in 1994, the five sculptures comprising the Egghead Series on the 51�Թϱ����� campus have elicited joy, protest, engagement and conversation. They’re also a fascinating entry point into the broader story of art in California and at 51�Թϱ�����.

Now extended through June 30! Acclaimed artist and sculptor Deborah Butterfield (’71, M.F.A. ’73) studied with Robert Arneson. See several of his works in the “Kindred Spirits” gallery adjacent to her career-spanning exhibition, and spot the special cameo in the Poetry Lounge.

At the beginning of the Year of the Eggheads, MFA student Trevor Bashaw read aloud his commemorative poem called "egghead ballad." You too can enjoy this poem whenever you want. (See link below.)

Make a pilgrimage to the famous on campus. So many famous artists passed through these hallowed doors. It’s even on the National Register of Historic Places.

In addition to the Eggheads, Robert Arneson has an array of other art and books on display throughout the library. He was incredibly prolific. See for yourself.

Drop by! First, visit Bookhead outside. It was the first Egghead installed back in October 1991.

The Year of the Eggheads 30th anniversary celebration has come to a close. That means apparel and other limited-edition goodies from the Arneson Egghead Collection are disappearing fast and  won't be replaced. When they're gone, they're gone.

In celebration of the Eggheads’ 30th anniversary, the Manetti Shrem Museum is offering walking tours of the iconic sculptures at 1 and 3 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday in May. Registration is limited to 20 people per tour with on-site signup beginning at 12:30 p.m.

Now extended through June 30! Did you ever wonder where the Eggheads came from? Visit this special lobby display showcasing early models of Robert Arneson’s iconic sculptures. Most of these models, known as maquettes, have never been shown before. Curated by Ginny Duncan.
